Tracy Simpson
About the Artist
A Portland, Oregon native, Tracy received her BFA in Industrial Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Specializing in Transportation Design, she moved to Detroit where she designed for car makers including Ford, GM, and Chrysler. In 2005, Tracy returned to Portland to continue her design career with Daimler Trucks North America.
In 2014, she took the leap from working for Corporate America to working for herself. From her home studio, she is creating and honing her craft while actively parenting her precocious daughter and trying to maintain her husband's sanity.
