How does it work?

   

 Step 1. Pick out your artwork. 

 Step 2. Select your plan.

 Step 3. Make your first payment online or at Steel Door Gallery.

Step 4. Sign the terms of agreement.

Step 5. Take your painting home. 

 

 

Choose from three ways to own original artwork:

 

1. One year subscription plan: Pay a monthly subscription fee for a year:

   

Art priced- ($140 - $400) 20$ per month 

Art priced- ($401 - $750) 30$ per month  

  Art priced- ($751 - $1200) 40$ per month   

    

 After one year you can:

 

 1. Bring the artwork back to Steel Door Gallery and you have completed your                    subscription! Your monthly payment will stop.

 

 2. Pay the remaining balance (total subscription amount paid - original sale price =          remaining balance) and the painting is yours! 

 

3. Do nothing and we will continue to bill you monthly until you have paid the                   equivalent of the original sale price. Once the painting has been paid off, your               payments will stop automatically and you own the painting.  If you decide to bring       the painting back at any time before reaching the equivalent sale price your                   monthly payments will stop.  

 

2. Four installments plan:

 

Total purchase is divided into four equal payments over four months.

    

   Example:  The painting cost 400.00 

    Pay 100.00 now and take the painting home that same day!

You will automatically be billed 100.00 per month over the next three months 

    

 

3. Pay in full: Cash, Check, or Credit Card

*We have done our best to make as many pieces available under this plan as possible. Selection is limited, but you may reserve your piece online at steeldoorgallery.com during our online presale period October 10th - 16th 2015.

About The Exibitions:  

 

Portland is famously creative for its design, food, fashion, art, and we all know Portlanders love to support local businesses.  Steel Door Gallery is located in the Slabtown arts district, and has been supporting local artists for the last three years.  Owner, Patrick Zahn, showcases local emerging and mid-career artists, focusing on career development, marketing, creative support, education, and a premier gallery environment for exhibitions. 

 

Starting this year, Steel Door will begin a new and exciting once a year event called “Art Within Reach". This event is for art lovers, serious and new art collectors, and curious onlookers. We hope to allow more art enthusiasts to visit an art gallery and go home with their favorite artwork, possibly for the first time. As explained by Patrick, “Making art accessible doesn’t mean discounting it. In this once a year show we have found a way to increase access and maintain the integrity of the work!”
